Nestled within a World Heritage destination, The Tamborine Boutique Hotel embraces a profound responsibility to protect and preserve the natural and cultural treasures that surround us.

Comfort with a Conscious:
Our sustainability Journey

Our long-term commitment to sustainability and ethical practices is a guiding principle woven into every aspect of our operations.

Each decision during the restoration of this iconic building has been made with a focus of reducing our environmental impact.

We continue to review our practices to ensure our presence enhances, rather than diminishes, the beauty and integrity of this unique destination.

Sustainability at the Heart of Everything We Do

The Design & Build Process

The design intent was to retain as much of the original architecture and structure as possible.

Our focus was also on sustainable materials, such as plywood, and sourcing suppliers with an eco-conscience. We partnered with local builder, Marty Spies, from Green Earth Building who prioritises quality sustainable building practices.

We also engaged with local landscape designer, Dan Deshon, to ensure our plant selections were suitable to the natural environment but also encouraged birds and insects to feed.
