Friends of The Tamborine : Brenden Schultz, Main St. Provedore

Good food. Good people. Good reasons to stay a little longer. There are certain people who make a place more interesting. For our first Friends of The Tamborine spotlight, we're introducing you to one of them: Brenden Schultz, chef and owner of Main St. Provedore. At Main St. Provedore, seasonal produce, thoughtful technique and a little creative flair come together.

Meet Brenden

Brenden's cooking is anything but predictable. His menus draw inspiration from French technique, Japanese flavours and native Australian ingredients, with an emphasis on beautiful seasonal produce and a willingness to do things a little differently.

The result? Food that feels considered without being fussy, familiar without being ordinary. And that's precisely what we like about it.

Menus change with the seasons, ingredients inspire new ideas and there is always something worth coming back for. From Indigenous-inspired dishes paired with wines from South Australia's Mitu Wines to Japanese-inspired evenings featuring sashimi, nigiri and pork belly, Brenden keeps things interesting.

A seat at the table

We're rather fond of having Main St. Provedore as part of the local food scene. Because a stay at The Tamborine should be about more than beautiful rooms and a mineral pool although, naturally, those are rather important too. It's about knowing where to find a great dinner, a beautifully poured glass of wine and people who care about what they put on the table. Brenden is one of those people. So, if you're checking into The Tamborine soon, consider this your little nudge to make a reservation at Main St. Provedore.

Good food, mountain air and nowhere else you need to be.

Welcome to Friends of The Tamborine.
